Hi,

I have been comparing the CL-25/35 to the new CL-26/36. Although the newer ones are not out yet here in Europe, some online shops have put up prices indicating that the CL-26 will cost 60 euros more than what CL-35 costs now.

Looking at the specs, it seems that it would be better to just get the CL-35 now rather than wait for the CL-26 (unless you want a white one). The older model has more voices (15 vs 8), recorder, lesson functions and three pedals instead of one.

I am comparing these two because they have the same action and essentially the same price and happen to be within my budget whereas CL-36 probably isn't frown

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?

No, I don't believe so - the CL26 and CL35 share the same keyboard action and tone generator, while the CL35 offers additional features and three pedals etc.

The CL26 prices that are currently listed on some online stores may not be final, however if they are, and you are able to purchase a CL35 for less than a CL26, I too would opt for the CL35.

Kind regards,
James

I also suspect that the final price of the CL26 will be somewhat lower. I saw in another thread that you mentioned that the new ones are going to be shipping in Europe soon. In any case I can't buy it before the end of the month (I won't be home to accept delivery), so I will have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully, the CL35 will still be around and, as far as I see it, even if it is a bit more expensive than the CL2x, it is worth it.

In any case, thank you for being on the forum and helping out.
