Here's a picture of my new Yamaha C3.
I recently had the opportunity to spend a week playing a C3. I've played lots of pianos (and owned 6), but never enjoyed playing the piano this much. So, when I returned home, I arranged to trade my 7' grand for a new 6'1" C3. I couldn't be happier.

Thanks, all. Nothing like a new piano, especially if it's the piano you've dreamed of (and didn't even know it).

I'd rather not say for fear of initiating any brand comparisons. Suffice it to say it was a beautiful piano, but just too big and loud for my room, and not as well suited to my taste.

I couldn't figure out how to post my picture - how did you do it?

Took me a couple of tries.
Look at:

link to FAQ picture posting thread

You have to locate the picture on your hard drive, and this will tell you how to upload it.
You'll get an email telling you what the URL of the picture is. Then when you compose your post, you click on the little picture icon and it will ask you for the URL which you can paste in, and the picture will show up.
With patience and persistence, you can get it done!

Did you trade for "a" C3 for "the" C3 you spent a week playing. I am very curious of you bought "a" C3 how similar it was to the one you played.

No, not the same one. They seem similar enough to me - I suppose if they were side by side in the same room I could tell the difference, but separated by time, distance, and considerably different room acoustics, I can't.
