The first video.... just wow.

Wow, how stupid. It's just a cheap trick, it does nothing for the music, and it's only a stunt. Anyone can do that.

What's happening in the second video, however, makes sense. It makes playing the piece feasible. That is impressive because of the sheer amount of coordination required by slowly phasing in and out like that.

i can't believe he has to look at his hands. I love that piece. I don't know why he needs 2 pianos but it is a nice trick

I make too many mistakes playing one piano, really would be a mess to try and play two.

If you make the same number of mistakes but divide them over two pianos, doesn't that effectivly cut your number of mistakes per piano in half? Sounds like a good thing to me. Rock keyboardists have been doing this for years. I used to have a rig that included a Hammand B3 to my right, and a Yamaha CP70B in front of me with a Korg Trinity XS on top of that, along with a set of bass pedals. I'm too old to schlep around a rig like that anymore.

I hope he is working both right pedals at once...otherwise no credit...not that I think he deserves much anyway.
