Soda, I haven't seen that yet, but I did see that Ohlsson has a recording of the bminor out. Skipped it, however, and picked up the new Perahia/Brahms disc.
Ohhhhh and in the DVD section sitting back to back were the Gmajor Ravel from Argerich and Grimaud, which actually made me laugh out loud in the store.

I need to keep up more with upcoming CD's. My friend has let me know about John Eliot Gardiner and the Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique recordings of the Brahms Symphonies. I have the first two and they are absolutely stunning!! Do you know anything about these recordings?

Examples:

Well, each CD is a live performance, and they contain an entire program, not just the symphony. Here's a link to find out more: http://www.solideogloria.co.uk/recordings/brahms.cfm

OSK,

I plan to have that disk in April. A new version of the Tarantella is floating around youtube but the times don't match the disk. I can't wait! Benediction and the Sonata, the whole 2nd year supplement!

@Stores
The Ohlsson is tempting. Is the Fantasy and the Sonata all that's on the disc?

@Andromaque
I would have had a heart attack, I think!

@Liszt85
He's sweet alright. I'm sure he didn't think of himself at all! laugh

I fell out of favor not too long ago with Liszt, but I'm starting to like him more again.
