Wow, perfect, just perfect Carl. Beautiful hard wood floors and the sage green and almond tones work extremely well. looks like very good acoustics as well.

The piano is going to throw out some serious power in the corner and if harnessed correctly will produce some incredible tones and resonance.

Your pride of ownership shines thru in these pics. congrats on a very nice piano and setting.

Carl, that is just a gorgeous room! Of course, the piano is beautiful - and what a cool lamp! I love the idea of having the light come over your shoulder. You must be in heaven - it sure looks pretty close.

That is wonderful, Carl! What a beautiful room - a little piece of heaven! You must love spending time in that room, much less spending time playing the piano in it! It's perfect.

I'm glad this thread has been resurrected! Here is my new piano....clock..lol. Also, a few shots of my new Yamaha, and latest Joplin piece. smile

The video has some Chopin playing in the background. Youtube didn't like it so they put a bunch of ads in the video. mad

Hey Carl, that feeling you have right now, kinda makes it all worth it huh?

I'm glad you will perform nice tunes on that beautiful piano too and not just use it as a piece of [poser] furniture.

I never did get that.

Schimmels are just so beautiful, they make a great piece of furniture! They are really in their own league elegance wise.

Beautiful setting S&W!

Indeed. The next time you are playing your M&H late in the evening... I will most likely be doing the same.

Nerdy room incoming..kinda ashamed.

At least now I've replaced the stand so it actually looks a bit more like a piano. And the pedal with a pedal stand thingy add-on.

Not everyone can stay as classy :p

Now that's a room I'd be comfortable in, Quagles. I like the blue walls a lot. I've never had the nerve to paint my walls a color. When I was younger I actually had black and white striped walls, but I've gotten less confident of my interior decorating abilities. But yours are great.

Quagles - your room looks very similar to my "quiet" practice space. I'll see if I can post a pic tomorrow. This is the room where I can don the 'ole headphones and not bother anyone, and have my computer handy and my tons of music. (arghh!)
