Also add me for Funerailles, which I recorded already last year (though if I remember the performance wasn't the best). That and Totentanz make two pieces about death for me.

Thank you Damon!

@BruceD: Thanks! Hopefully I won't screw it up. smile

@verywellmister: Got it! There are many pieces of death if you want to add more.

@all
I can't believe no one has jumped on Liebestraume. Now I'm torn between cleaning that up or attempting the first Paganini etude (which is actually my favorite). Help!

I am fairly sure a work of that popularity will not last much longer being left out! So I would stick with the paganini etude as that is much more likely to be.

You're right, but I'm not sure I can have the etude ready by then. On the other hand, I can't allow it to be the only one of that set, unrepresented. Get ready for a few clunkers. laugh

I may also wind up contributing quite a few Hungarian Rhapsodies.. but it will all depend on how quickly I can dust them off when it comes cime to record.

Hi! I would love to make a recording of the Rigoletto paraphrase!
Played it at a school exam thing with good results, and I'm playing it in a small competition in march, so I bet I could get a good recording before October smile
And I could allso make a little recording of the nice little piece "Wiegenlied", and the first consolation. Might get more for october, but that is what I can contribute with at the moment.

Very kind of you to organize this Damon.

You're original post inquired if there was interest in a Liszt ecital. Given the response, I'd say the answer is a resounding "yes!"

Looks like a great program too. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone.

I'm already signed up for Apparitions #1! Don't feel bad about forgetting. After all, it's a big Liszt list.

Duplicates are welcome, I think. Damon will confirm. We love listening to different interpretations!

Yes, I need to get started on the mephisto 3, and 10 months should be sufficient but I don't think I'll get started until 4-5 months from now because of other pieces that I need to get done. 5 months should do the trick though as the third is not as difficult as the first.
