Is this the most entertaining program on TV? I put on weight just watching this every week. My bucket list includes visiting & sampling the gourmet delicacies concocted in every place featured. Here's a sample:

See it on the Food Network...

They were at my local diner in Arlington, VA (one we actually walk to) - Metro 29 - a couple of weeks ago. They showed how they make the french toast from scratch (bakery in the basement) which is one of my daughter's faves. Great stuff.

I was lucky enough to live in Chicago during graduate school! Trust me, their pizza is as good as it looks on the film clip. Watching it actually brought a tear to my eye!!!!

I haven't caught the show... but...

My mom was in town a few weeks ago, and took me out to a diner that they had featured (in Marietta). The diner had newspaper clippings re: the show framed when you walked in.

And happily, the food was good smile I was a little nervous, not having a lot of diner experience, but it was good! Friendly service too, and a pretty decent crowd.

Love the show, it all looks so good. I've yet to visit a triple D joint but plan to the next time I'm in San Francisco or L.A. areas.

Boxed sets (usually 3 or 4 DVDs) of the shows from past seasons are available on Amazon or the Food Network's website - I have the 1st 2 seasons and Santa has my request for the complete 3rd season, and since I've been a very good boy... laugh
