I've been playing for 14 months now, since september 2010, and this is my first full tune that I recorded back in April. It's pretty repetitive and the playing isn't great, but at my level I was quite pleased just to get through without making a mistake! haha

Nicely done considering how long you've been playing. You have a knack for the performance aspect of the piano. A year and you can already play that smoothly and with such expression? Well done! In terms of composition, it's very simple, but there's nothing wrong with that. The melody is pretty and the mood is well-developed. I especially like the shift to minor about a third of the way through, and the reduced tempo. The only thing I didn't like was the chord that started at 3:00. Not that it's a bad chord, I just think you held on to it for too long. There's surprising variety in this piece. Keep it up!

Thanks for your feedback. It's vey encouraging to know that someone other than my girlfriend likes it! Yes, that chord at 3:00 I was in two minds about. I felt like it gave a slightly unexpected turn to the song but at the same time dragged on a bit. With a bit more work that section could have bee much better I feel frown Anyway, thanks for listening and the words of encouragement smile
