Hey gang, trying to decide what to do with the piano at my deceased parents' house. I played on it quite a bit when I was younger, we probably purchased it around '91 or so. Just can't decide whether to keep it and risk the cats, 2 year old, etc tear it up or to sell it to a good home.

I cannot find any real information on this model- inside it says M3, and has several "Made in Japan" stickers. I recall my Dad also saying that the piano was fairly unique in that it was made in Japan.

Any info on this upright would be very much appreciated. This photo is identical to the one we have:

Hi, I had an M305 which I just traded in. Mine had a metal-type scroll music rack and was a little different in body type in that it was a cherry Provential cabinet. My particular piano was made in Thomaston, Georgia. If you had a serial number, you could look it up at the following link to get more specific information.

Apparently mine was made in Japan in.......1969 or 1970!

Interesting to say the least. I have no idea what this means with regard to value. I should probably get an inspection done.
