I'm a composer, and I'm working on a very ambitious project right now: A progressive metal piece for two keyboards, two electric guitars, bass guitar, drum set, male and female vocals, and a small backing orchestra consisting of strings and winds. To put this project together, I will eventually need a very nice MIDI enabled keyboard. I'm a big fan of Omnisphere's software, but I need a really great keyboard to support these sounds, and for a fairly modest price. Any ideas? Thanks!

You are not going to get those sounds out of a DP. Not great ones at least, guitar sound is very hard to get "right". What you are going to need is software. There is some pretty good virtual instruments out there for guitar, bass and drums

You might even spend a lot less because then All you need is a keyboard with key action you like and not much else

This will not be a virtual ensemble. Sorry for any confusion there! The only need for keyboards will be the synthesizers. The orchestra will be comprised of REAL orchestral instruments and players, the drum set will actually be acoustic drums, the guitars will be real electric guitars, etc. There are two DP parts in this piece, and I want a wide and dynamic range of effects at my disposal for these parts. That's what I was referring to.
