Now, that's what I call cozy. I like the Siamese cat effect too. Are you single?

giuseppe, I *love* that photo. It makes your piano look like a proud mama standing over her little baby. grin

Hi Giuseppe, I see you went from a Yamaha to a Schimmel like me, did you have the GC1 first? Schimmel has a beautiful sound, very gentle .....

Here's my space, showing part of my wife's book collection and off to the left is the 10 month old source of the mess (rawhide bones, socks, shoes, underwear, etc) that always seems to be in our house.

Konzert Patrick

(that's the first time I have ever heard the sound of the Schimmel described as gentle. It is an apt term for an instrument of such power. The 189 is a special piano. I'd love to own one.)

I have always described Schimmels as shimmery. they have such a unique tone quality and are very consistent. I'd like to here someone with greater articulation skills describe their 'character'.

and feeble..

that dog looks like it is ready to wreck havoc. The first year of a dog's life is a challenge usually. I love my dog now that he is about 4, maybe 5.

He has always loved the piano. He sits underneath during lessons and sneaks in during my practice sessions. He thinks it is a dog house.

knotty - how cool! both the room and your jam buddies. I had read that you'd bought a drum set and advertised on craigslist for jam buddies and it had worked out. In spades! You've got really nice backing skills, as well as a solo that swings smile.

I love it.

Be glad you can't see the sheet music on the floor.

I love your view, Al, but I think it would distract me from the piano. Views are not the strong point of my place.

But I am, frankly, disappointed we can't see the stacks of sheet music laugh After all, we can see mine!

GUISEPPE - Gorgeous piano, room (and doggie, too!)

FEEBLE - Another nice set-up, and , I agree, your puppy does kind of look like he's scheming. laugh

KNOTTY - Nice practice area! Great tune and comping! Well done! I'm jealous.

AL - What a winning view!

This thread is so fun!

This is what I saw one morning while playing the piano. He had been around, so I kept the camera right by the piano, and I was ready when he showed up:
