Is it possible to embed a record player in the forum so we can click on Play> and listen to the music instead of clicking a link and download a file?
Sorry if this question was posted before. Thanks.

Certainly. Something like youtube tags but MP3 oriented.

I suppose you mean something like what they have at PianoStreet. I don't post there, but sometimes I read messages and I have noticed this feature.
This is just an example:

Yes, I think it would be nice... smile

Exactly!
Another solution could be if some WAV or MP3 upload web site has a code or something that we can copy simply changing the URL. This should be an easy code to write.

Yes, I understand what you mean. Maybe it is not possible, I don't know. We already have other buttons to embed videos, images... If we don't have a button for music files maybe it is just not possible. There are indeed services that have an embed code, I think FileFactory for example?

Goear offers a nice approach: the link redirects you to an audio player. The first one to offer an universal embeded record player for forums will make a lot of money, i guess.

Actually I think BoxNet does the same...
There might even be options to embed it here, maybe we can check. It is possible to embed it on a website, I just did it yesterday.

If it's possible and practical to make this, I'm all for it!
