Northern NSW is my favourite place to go camping. There are so many beautiful little spots there. This bookshop in Tyalgum has to be one of the cutest bookshops in Australia:

I grew up in Tasmania, and my high school was at the base of Mt Wellington with the snow winds blowing down on us most days of the year. I'll never get tired of the beautiful weather up here!

So, we have a Tamanian Piano-devil in our midst laugh (sorry, couldn't resist)

Oh, Oh, when you guys start talking about far away (from me) places, I just get the itch to jump on the next airplane smile

Tasmania is super beautiful. If you ever make it "down under" make sure to include it in your itinerary.

Here's my piano room with "new" (to me) Kawai GE-2. Loving it so far! Now to shop for a rug AND convince the SO to clear some shelf space for sheet music!

Hang on! The Brits sent their convicts out there because it was the least desirable place to send em! And they wouldn't be able to hop over to the mainland so easily.

A bit like the British equivalent which would be Gruinard, of the coast of Scotland. . . . have I got all this wrong?? smile. Heh heh

Well, the Brits must've thought it desirable to go there in the first place. The 'convicts' were just free labor. Lucky them, as it turned out smile

(I also have my nice Wagner upright in the dining room for my day-to-day stuff.)

Wow...The elevation of the house with the trees in the background....<3

Thanks, Jessiebear!

That's what you get when you buy the wrong color paint and start mixing your own colors. We taped off the wall and just went for it! We love it, but it probably not for everybody! ;-)

look_alive, I think those colors adds a lot of panache to the room, love it smile

Mind you, with that shining new grand in the room, you're gonna need sun glasses laugh

Gosh that blue wall behind the grand piano is a striking image! I love it! It looks like it's out of a magazine.

Ha, yes, the Brits did send their convicts to Tas peterws, and it's still a very cold and windy place to LIVE, with a fairly sketchy economy to boot. But to *visit* it's stunning! And all those former penal colony locations make great tourist destinations these days smile

We ought to have a "Purple Velvet Cover" club. You and I could be the founder members.

Hahaha! I see! It might be a 'chinese' thing. Though I'm Chinese myself, I'm a Singaporean Chinese. LOL

Hi LarryShone,

That was me. I was trying to attach the picture in my post but it came out as a website link so I deleted the post. I am still trying to figure out how to show just picture in the post.
