One of my best purchases. Really! smile

If you ever get a chance to visit Sweetwater, be sure to. Especially during Gearfest. It is far more than a music store.

Excuse the mess, I have young kids. My new to me 1920's Packard, guitars obviously, and not easily seen are saxophones, clarinets, trumpets. I played sax for eight years of concert band and four years of marching band.

And then the beater in the garage for the kids to pound on.

The pics look fuzzy on my phone, I hope they look better for everyone else.

Yes, in the garage. It is in sad shape, it was stored in a barn for years, about a third of the keytops are missing, the veneer is peeling, it's a half step flat across the board, a broken string and several missing hammers. The garage is heated and cooled, so it's not *too* bad, but I do understand the concern. I thought about moving it out to my shop where the bar is and adding a beer tap to it, but I'm not sure how to hide all the stuff I'd need to keep the beer cool.

Hard liquor doesnt agree with me, unless is rum and coke.

I gotta say, I'm jealous of those who have room for a grand piano. Someday, hopefully.

That's just in the music room ;-))

(Anyone reading this, no, I don't. I just put the gallon bottle there for a photo I wanted to take. Actually the slightest drink ruins what ability I have. I might think my playing sounds OK, but it deteriorates rapidly. Being on my own, here, I really do have to be careful. It is easy to slip into bad habits without a partner to tell me to stop!)

Go to the forums list. There is one for posting them. Go to that and just create a new topic. Then really it is dead easy. If I can do it, anybody can.

When I was in China I was trying to do something and couldn't get it to work. I emailed my boss and asked him for help. He sent his 8 year old, who promptly soted me out.

I do have a stander for practicing, only when I make videos, I put the keyboard on the table because I don't want to show the other side of the room.

We had a terrific storm a little while ago. I notice, now, that it has damaged the inside of the ballroom roof a little bit. Fortunately I have to get a scaffolding tower in to help with another job, so I shall be able to do the repairs fairly easily.

You will be happy to know that the Blüthner was, and is, snugged down under her waterproof cover. Actually there is no leakage as the outside of the roof was fixed within a couple of days of the storm. It could have been much worse.

Such beautiful pianos.. I am inspired and in awe of your gorgeous pianos and homes! Here is my humble setup.. just a digital Arius in my living room. And before anyone mentions, I have removed the armchair and replaced it with a proper piano bench..

The corner of my office with my little Yamaha P155 where I retreat to and my only fan photobombing. When I get good I'm going to surprise the family with a full size grand piano. They'll love it!
