Wow very nice setting Tom! The persian ( I mean the rug under the piano) looks very similar to ours. I have found only one photo... We removed the rug because the cat was destroying it.

Our Labrador Retriever comes into the (former?) dining room and lies down under the piano whenever we start playing. I'm pretty sure that's better than if she ran to the basement and covered her ears. So far, she's been kind to the rug. smile

That's a great setting for your C1. I assume the piano fills much of your home with sound?

Yes, it does. The C1 seems a perfect match for the space. BTW, we played - and loved - the C2X, but in terms of size and sound the C1 worked better for us. Buying a larger house actually was discussed, but ultimately was rejected. It seems our insanity does have its limits. smile

We have learned since our purchase just how loud an under 6 foot piano can get. Sometime less is more. smile

Enjoy!

It's a pop filter, a type of screen that goes in front of a microphone to improve the sound (like stopping the air noise).

I bought a stand with my keyboard but it's an x one so it gets in the road sitting down so I had to improvise smile.

Love the kids camping under the grand. Growing up I had a friend with one and the space under it was prime real estate for sleep overs. Long before the age of tablets, though.

New to the forum and saw a few people in this thread posting their digital pianos so I thought I'd contribute.

This is the second bedroom of my uni place, hence the bed I'm standing on to fit it all in frame. Main controller is the legendary Kawai VPC1 running through some Event 2030's. DAC is a FiiO E17 with the E09k dock running through a mixer behind the music stand. Cello the right. Mainly play any of the VILabs or Spitfire libraries through Cantabile for practice and song ideas.

Not pictured are any of my other keyboards or controllers or my piano because I'm new to teh state and space on the drive over was at a premium. I suppose its not much but I'm pretty happy with it, considering how long it took me to choose and afford everything. Plus just try and get the VPC in Aus locally... Impossible.
