I have a Krell Baby Grand. Serial # 223299. I bought it several years ago refinished. The soundboard is good and the tone is quite good. My kids went up to Grade 8 piano with it but the keys are too soft and we wanted a larger sound. We just upgraded and I now want to sell the Krell. What is a reasonable asking price?

I think the instrument probably dates back to the 40s? It has a mahogany finish.

Your piano dates to about 1934. At nearly 80 years old, it's likely that significant work is needed on the action, pinblock, strings, bridges, and soundboard. Your best estimate of value would come from your tuner, who can inspect it in person. It's not a particularly noteworthy brand, so I'm afraid its value would be minimal.
