Giuseppe,

Ciao!

Meaningful pricing advice is not possible in your situation, because I believe this is a very old piano, (you did not write how old it is or give a serial number). With old pianos condition means more than anything else.

Also, prices vary tremendously according to region, and even city.

A good place to start would be to hire a piano technician to inspect the piano, check the condition, and advise you what the piano needs to bring it to good new condition. Piano technicians are also sometimes familiar with used piano pricing in your city. If you are selling the piano, have it tuned while the technician is there.

If you feel the instrument might have value as an antique, you will need to contact experts in antique musical instruments. Usually pianos have the most value as pianos people can enjoy and play, and value as an true antique instrument is rather rare.

Buona fortuna.

Your piano is not in the Piano Atlas. It
may be too old,or the company made so few piano's
that it was not listed. "Scusa"

According to the piano atlas, it was built between 1900 and 1910. It helps if you spell the name correctly.

I think Schiedmayer & Soehne was well respected as a brand.

Shiedmayer&Soehne makes only Celstes today but once was a very respected make.

In the 70/80s Kawai made some pianos by that name
but I don't think your 85 key piano is one of those.

Incidentally I wonder what happened to that line and why Kawai does not offer these pianos any longer.
