Listen paganini on the violin after cello

Sorry for my English, I know it sucks, but I'm trying to improve.

Cello!!!!!
Its beautiful rich and deep tones complement the piano so well! (and vice versa, of course!)

If everyone wanted to play first violin, then there would be no orchestras. Each musician should therefore appreciate his proper place.

Read my post carefully.
The inherent problems of cello-piano duo have nothing to do with richness of sound. I KNOW cello has a rich sound.

It's a problem of register overlap + sustain of the modern piano.
It's a problem which cannot easily be remedied. Essentially, the pianist has to play like a mouse in the register of the cello whenever the two instruments are playing simultaneously.

Flute and Piano is a wonderful combonation. I recently performed John Rutter's Suite Antique with a Flutist friend and I played the Piano accomp. She's a wonderful player and the instruments compliment each other nicely.

Currently working on...
Chopin - Fantasie Impromptu in C sharp minor Op.66
Mozart - Piano Sonata in E flat K.282
Liszt - Romance in E minor "O pourquoi donc" S.196

Maybe we should post some videos...
Here is one of a piece I am currently studying:

Actually, there is not much to see frown , but it is good music and James Galway is one of the best flutists!

Oh yeah they were pretty good! I'm still shamed by the total butcher we delivered at the concert. Still refuse to listen to the recording... It's surprisingly hard to start a program with that..

Easy to work with, perhaps, but not all sonic combinations are pleasing to my ear.

I've played trombone since 1965. In that time I've heard a significant number of trombone recitals, and piano accompaniment is traditional.

And to my ears, it just doesn't work. It's like a meal of all potatos. Nothing is as boring and tiring on the ears as an evening of piano and trombone, even with superb performers on both instruments, even when the audience is trombone geeks like me.

gotta go practice

Nice man, how was it? Sounds like quite a show. You ever catch that Freidrich Gulda/Chick Corea improv.
