There are probably hundreds of this piece posted in PW Members Recordings forum, but one more might be okay =)

It still needs some work on dynamics, left hand arpegios and the right hand fast runs but it's listenable.

I like that the dynamics are not extreme. I like the sound of your piano and the way you play this song.

Really nice, I can only dream of playing that well, I'll keep trying though.

Well done, and Nogueira is right your piano sounds really good.

Thanks for your comments Nogueira & MF-Blues. I'd like to have a little more contrast on dynamics, but yeah not too extreme. I still haven't mastered dynamic control, but it's going in the right direction.

MF-Blues, about 7 months ago, I too was thinking the same thing when I looked at the score. I started very slow (extremely slow) and practiced it over and over again every day.

I thought it was more than listenable, I put it in my favorites so I can listen to it again later.

I'll figure it out eventually.
Until then you may want to keep a safe distance.

ab-ster, once again I'm astounded by your talent. A great performance and again, a very high quality video... BRAVO!

and... if I remember correctly, you can't read music?

Whatever your "secret" is, please share it with me!

Thanks Little Blue Engine & cruiser for listening.

I've been forcing myself to read music for a year and a half now. It's a work in progress, I still can't sight read yet, but am now able to identify notes without counting the spaces / lines.

I don't have any secrets at all, except maybe cheating by listening to lots of recordings to figure out the pieces I'm learning.

I also really enjoyed your recording. I was going to record and post my own recording of fantasie, but I'm going to hold off on it for a little while now. Too afraid to be compared to your awesome talent. smile
