Hi,
Please tell me which piano is better? I am looking for a piano for my 5 years old daughter.
Yamaha E108 42" (10 years old) asked price $1600
Yamaha M108 42" (20 years old) asked price $1200
Young Chang U109 42" (22-25 years old -85 Keys) asked price $550
Are the price reasonable?

Hi Katie!

All 3 prices sound reasonable to me.

But there is no way to tell which piano is better unless you look at it, play it, and hear it.

My suggestion would be to find a good piano technician (ask piano teachers and schools for names), talk to 2 or 3 of them, then ask one to check out whatever you're thinking about buying. A technician will be honest with you. You really don't want something that would be impossible to repair, for instance.

I would steer away from the 20+ year old models. The 10 year old yamaha is the best bet in my opinion.

Actually if that Young Chang does truely have 85 keys,than it is a E101 not a U109. That YC E101 is a great little piano made for the player with a limited space consideration. I had one in my office for years and I have near 100 Steinway grands in the showroom(s). grin

The U109 is 88 keys and can be a fine piano though some YC(S) in that era just didn't age well. It's kinda a hit or miss. $550 is a deal if in good shape.
