Alright - since we're doin' animals. I posted this before in another thread, but I still like it. It's my piano tuner hard at work:

Maybe piano un-tuner is a better word....

His momma and brother sleep under the piano on a little sofa-leg-cushion I put there to get it out of the way. They used to run away when I played, but now they can take it, until I start hitting the Sforzandos. They're probably deaf by now. Doesn't matter - it's not like they come when called.

My cockatiel loves the guitar, but I have the feeling he doesn't like the flute. I think the pitch of the flute is too high for him, I don't know.
The problem with the guitar is that I cannot let him play it, as he would break the strings of course... frown So I have to alternate between playing and scratching him on the head to calm him down when he wants to play and divert his thoughts. It usually works, as he is a very cuddly bird. smile
I usually play the piano with headphones, so he cannot hear me.

if your talking about the bird then it loves to be stroked, but will bite if you try to play the piano (an odd bird indeed)

Oh god, I wish you hadn't said that. Do you think I should put a circle of salt around the cat, and speak some incantations to rid it of this evil spirit?

That would explain why it always demands mouse sacrifices to propitiate him.

BIRDS!

yay!

We have a Quaker parrot named Kabbo. He is just awesome! Hes bigger than most quakers. He talks his head off.

He actually is a piano bird. When I play the piano, he starts talking to me and going through his vocabluary!

He can say-
Commere (come here but kinda put together)
Hey baby whatcha doin?
Here kitty kitty (even though we have dogs)
**laughs hysterically, and changes pitches when laughing- like a human!
**Quacks like a duck which is awesome
Whistles some songs
And a bunch of other stuff. Its great!

The only thing he has done for me at the piano is poop on it though! :P

Hes cute though so its ok. I just keep the lids closed when Im gone for a long time.

Haha, sorry. I don't know what to advise though, because I can't tell if the ghost is haunting the cat, or the piano wink

That white cat is beautiful...

<--- My cello pic is arty farty, well it's blurry so I conclude it must be wink Never had any piano pics taken. My piano is not the most photogenic, nor is the room it is in. I do like your pic debrucey, looks good in black and white.

Those are not mine. I got that when I typed in Kempff piano hands.

Lol
I wish I had hands like that master. smile

Couldn't resist. I was going to put a picture of Horiwitz hands, but I personally prefer Kempff.

When it came to the hands I was always jealous of Argerich during the 70s and 80s.

I won't bother posting any of the pictures of me taken at the piano. They all are particularly unartsy.

Beautiful looking piano!
Artsy juxtaposition of contemporary shoe with antique woodwork.

Ahaha.

It could be a nike advertising thing. Of the shoe, but maybe it on a wooden pedal of an early grand.
