Does it sound better if you play Sondheim?

Do funny email replies count? smile

I recently just put my digital piano up for sale on Craigslist. A butcher emailed me wondering if I would trade it for meat. That's a lot of meat.

Or it could be really good meat.
I'd give him a call to find out what he had in mind.

Years ago I came across one of these naugahyde models and thought it was a home improvement idea. I had no idea it was actually made this was intentionally.

Apparently, it's "no big deal" to tune a 200 year old piano...

I think it just needs new plugs and a fuel filter

Well, judging by the 200 year old piano, I'd guess the baby is about 16.

Here's one that has the non fuel injection. It has the carbed legs for the retro muscle piano modification. Buffed and toned too!

Awww..this "uprite" seems so sad. I'm not sure how quickly it will find a new home, given the date it was last tuned.

Is that a Betty Boop lunchbox on top of the piano? That might be worth something.

I've seen worse done to such verticals...like hacking down the top of a front panel and installing a mirror.

Funny that you mention it. A Steinway cutaway from CL Little Rock: [Linked Image]

I've seen this done to average old uprights but never a S&S.

I have seen it done to far too many Steinways. That has an unusual fallboard for a Steinway. I wonder if it really is one.

If you follow the link to the CL listing there is a side shot too. The entire mirror section and top seem to be an add on? That's weird. Could it be one of the old 40" S&S consoles underneath that top?

Nice reflection of the clutter in the room and the photographer's mid-section.
