I think it's a PW rule that hosts are required to play the piano for their guests. wink

Hello George,

I just now learned about your home concert. My wife and I would love to attend, however we'll be on the road on May 19. We would love to be informed about future events.

Rich,
I'll help hold him down. I have an extra Hannibal Lechter restraint mask that my wife uses on me when she takes me to the mall.

I'm with you. I'd rather not play after a world class performer. It could only be worse.

However, after a few glasses of wine.... laugh

Small world, Allan was almost my teacher too. I thought he was a Jazz pianist too.

I'd like to go with the wife. I'm only a few mins away in jackson...

For those of us NOT within driving distance, how about someone capturing this event in audio so's the rest of us can enjoy the evening with our crackers and cheez whiz?

No kidding here, will someone record this for us?

That would probably be left up to Alan. Artists can be a little funny about being recorded in a situation like this one.

Joel,

Just in case, can you bring your H4? If recording Alan is not possible, you can record the rest of us vulgar commoners.

Man would I love to come up North for this! Unfortunately, that doesn't look very likely since I'd have to be in church service on Sunday morning.

What an absolute evening of pure delight! I'd love to host something like this myself someday. Please take pictures, someone!

Alan had someone record one of the runthroughs he played at the house. I'm 99% sure he would have no problem with someone recording this performance.

I'm trying to get a final count for the 19th.

So far I have the following people confirmed, if I left you off the list let me know ASAP:

Rich Galassini
Oldcars
Devils4Ever
DrumProdigy83
PassionatePianist
David Esty
Mark737
Irenev
Axtremus

From the list, I need to definitively know who is bringing significant others or guests. It should be a great night.
