OP SAMoore 2000 Post Club Member Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 2,034 Canada	hi, I'm visiting Chicago and other than the second hand book store over the Arts Institute (which was nice!) I cannot find a local music book store!! anyone from or familiar with the Chicago area? Thx! I haven't touched a piano in 7 days and cannot drag my spouse to any classical (lots of jazz though) events so I am suffering withdrawl!! p.s. I'm in love with Chicago!! It's the journey not the destination..

Just around the corner, on Wabash, half a block down, is another with more popular stuff, and gifts. Coulson's, 77 E. Wabash. Those are the only two downtown that I know of. They're about 2 blocks south of the Art Institute, so they're easy to get to. http://darntonviolins.com and http://darntonhersh.com
