I used to find Dubal exciting and fun to listen to. I don't think many would deny his encyclopedic knowledge of pianists, piano literature, and classical music in general. After a while(many listenings to the Reflections from the Keyboard radio show and 4+ live lectures), though, I found his enthusiasm too predictable and somewhat grating. Judging by his enthusiastic live audiences I'm probably in the minority.
I enjoy his books more.
