It was tricky to learn to play legato, especially the interleaved bit and I can't play it at all now. But I have the unusual for me feeling that that recording kinda worked out better than usual...

I had originally misinterpreted the thread subject as being about re-recordings of favorite recital works, and upon reading it, I felt the urge to re-record Intermezzo op. 118,2 by Johannes Brahms. It was my piece in the August 2009 recital - it took me about 50 takes back then - and has since become my favorite repertoire piece. It's the first choice when someone asks me to play something, and I also presented it in a students recital in November 2009. After the preparation for the latter event, I didn't like my ABF recital version anymore. So here is the 2010 version, only two takes and better in almost every regard, although there are still some flaws:

When Box.net was an incubated thought I bet the vision was one of stored business records, docs & files. Who new it would be an archive of so many musical treasures.

I have enjoyed the revisit to these that you hold dear. They are some of my favorites as well.

Manndrew - Absolutely gorgeous - a great song beautifully played thumb

LaValse - quiet, yes - and serene - nicely done.

Well, yes - but apparently not to many save past Recital recordings, which is surprising.

Well, if I had a big collection of recordings I might not save them... but so far my list is pretty small smile
