I've been playing my Roland f-110 for a few months now and I notice that the keys clunk a little more than they used to when I press them down. I take good care of it, and I push down hard to get the really bright notes, but is this being too rough?

Do all digital piano keys get clunkier over time? Should I be pressing as hard to get the brighter sounds? I figure, they'd have to be durable at this level of intensity if the brighter notes exist by hitting them that hard.

Is it the model? Is there are way to fix it? Is this normal?

I cant be positive, but Im pretty sure this is normal. I think the felt pads probably wear out some and become thinner over time and with regular use, so the "clunkyness" will become more apparent. I dont know if this is possible you may be able to take it apart and replace the felt strip??

Thanks Joey. Anybody else know if this happens to all models? Or if it's something Roland will come and fix?

I am not familiar with the construction of Roland DP, but to answer the question, there is probably felt that the hammers strike and yes it does wear down in time causing more noise. Thumping is normal on hammer action digital pianos. But by all means contact Roland if you think there is something wrong.
