So I got this new sheet for the next piece that I'm going to learn, but this piece includes some really hard technical parts.(in my opinion grin ). The piece is a piano arrangement for star wars laugh , and the idea is basically to fit the whole orchester onto the piano.
Anyway there are some really fast repeated notes and repeated left hand chords that at the moment I can't play in tempo, and my left hand gets tired really fast. I need some practising advices or something that would help me progress with the techniques involved. To get the idea what I'm lookin after check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvBGVXTWgmg&feature=related

You forgot to mention the lyrics, but then, maybe you don't find them difficult.

Hey, mauno.

Here's a tip that might work for you. Play what you can, and leave out what you can't play for the time being. Learn the big chordal structure of the tune and get to know the "arc" from beginning to end, then go back and work on the fast repeated notes later (even if it's much later). I am assuming, of course, that you don't have a deadline!

In the meantime, find some progressive exercises or finger excercises that mimic the fast parts you have trouble with, and practice, practice, practice. In time, it will all fall into place.

Good luck!
