I have an old Starck Player Piano.
On the inside there is faded red pencil i think that says "11/20/12" so i'm assuming it was made in 1912. There is also a label or print on the inside in gold letters that says...

P.A. Starck Piano Co.
Double Repeating
Patent
Brass Flange Action
Composite Bell Metal Frame

There is also something which i assume is the model number which is 94800.

I originally paid $500 for it but i need to get rid of it to make extra room in my living room. The player mechanism is not on the inside anymore and i'm guessing it may have been removed for metal during WW2. I am just wondering what i might be able to sell it for because i really don't want to have to just put it on the curb.

94800 is probably the serial number, which dates it to 1927. A good starting point for the value of your piano is what you paid for it. Unfortunately, even pianos this old don't have "antique" value unless they have an elaborately carved cabinet.

Try someplace like Craig's List -- or even freecycle.org.

The most likely reason the player action was removed is that it quit working and the owner found out how much it would cost to fix it.

Old uprights are worth nothing to $200 here. The piano may be good for someone who needs a free or cheap piano. Player pianos often had a better build quality than non-players back then. Try listing it on www.craigslist.com, but don't ask too much.
