Hello everyone,
I recently brought the score for Liszt HR#2. It's just a quick question, at the start of the Lassan section the RH plays some accented chords within the melody. My score says these are supposed to be played as arpeggiated chords, however; I've watched numerous performers such as Jung Lin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9-2jM5RNSs) and they don't seem to do this. Was it Liszt original intention for them to be played like that?
Regards
Sam

In the Lassan section RH plays first chord e-g#-c# without arpeggiated but second chord f#-a-e in the Lassan section must be play arpeggiated. I have original score.

In here Maksim Mrvica playing original HR#2 and you can listen chord's he played true here.

You don't imitate people, but ofcourse you must know what is the true style. Just do what you think its right, and make sure it sounds like what it is described. You'll get along =)
