I purchased it on ebay a week ago for $340. If you want it, I can sell it to you shipped in US for $295. I did not mail in the warranty card so it is brand new. I had ran it for a week and due to the high 15ft ceilings, and about 700 sq. ft., it would not get past 37%humidity. The unit can do up to 720 sp ft but at 8ft ceilings. Instant message me if you want it. I am in Ohio.

Im rather disappointed, but if I hold on to it, I loose more.

There is an area for pianos that are for sale, down the main page a good ways. But I don't know of any areas for other items such as humidifiers.

I think you may have given up too early.

This was my advice.

It will take 2-3 weeks for the area to absorb the humidity - the walls, the furniture, the wood, the books, the rug, the flooring etc. That is after the air finally gets its fill.

From there it will stabilize.

You might want to try it a little longer.

And you are in the height of high heat season, correct?

Then again, you might need two or one that is a little larger. Mine is about 10 inch cubic and it covers a room 12x12 ish - what size is yours?

My sister has the next size up in a room about 20 x 16 and it works fine.

I too think you've given up too soon. I hope you haven't stopped running it already. It takes time for the Humidity to enter all crevices of your home, give it more time.

Just my two cents.

37% humidity is fine. What number are you trying to reach?

I use an Air-O-Swiss unit and it took awhile, but the humidity is now constant in the room.

I need another Venta but it's for my wifes home office, very small room. I think I'll get the LW14. Luckily, I live 6 miles from the U.S. Venta Distributor. I can simply walk in and get whatever I need, over the counter. I can buy a refurbished unit for almost half of what a new unit costs.
