Noelb, that looks like a lot of piano ... No wonder you lost your shoes!
Congratulations again on your purchase, and happy playing.

Noelb,
A concern--Pianos and sunshine are said not to mix well, not well, that is, for the condition of the piano in question. Have you thought of window treatments?

Who knows... empty house would give more true sound. Congratulations! What a piano!!! I heard a piano that size at the store before and it sounded powerful.

That is one beautiful piano, though I have to admit it looks like a lion in a birdcage. I worry for the structural integrity of your house when you play Beethoven!
Seriously, congratulations and I hope you enjoy your C7!

Thank you all for sharing the joy of my new piano!
About the room, yes it is quite pleasant to be in this environment to play. what you see is actually the end part of the living room in the new house. We're working on the window treatment, of course (amongst a thousand other things involved with the move). I'm probably going to use some velvet curtains to block reverberation. Right now the mids sound pretty harsh with all this drywall and glass reverb...
Funny thing, Jethro, that you raise about the P80. I've had one for about 7 years. When I bought mine it was the only digi piano I liked amongst about 5 different models I tried out at the store. I never knew that they sampled a C7. Guess my tastes are consistent!
Thank you once again!

Yaaaghhh! The movers tipped the piano on the lyre, didn't they?

Very beautiful piano and very beautiful room. Congradulations. Yamaha grands play wonderfully and I'm sure you will be happy for a very long time.
