They cost about the same, I don't really care about any extra sounds, so which one would be your choice?
The PX130 seems to be widely known as a good beginners piano, but the Yamaha one is quite unknown?

[They both come with pedal & stand, bringing the total to around 650€]

The Yamaha has a couple of hundred each tones and rhythms, some of which are okay and others may not be to your liking. The Yamaha does not sustain the left hand in split mode (that drove me nuts but nobody else seems to mind). That said, I think I prefer the pianos and many of the "sweet" and "cool" tones of the Yamaha over the Casio. I presently own a PX330 so I can't specifically comment on the PX130, but if I hadn't had the split sustain issue with the Yamaha, I'd have kept it.

It is not fair to compare PX 130 vs. YPG 635. The PX 330 is comparable. I had the YPG 635 (DGX 630) before, but I returned it because of a defect loudspeaker, so I get the PX 330.

PX 330 has better piano sounds and key action, also more connectivity (MIDI, Line out, 2x headphone connectors).

The YPG had more usefull additional sounds, but I was looking for a DP and not for a keyboard - so I'm happy with my decision!

P.S. The DGX 640 is comming soon, so the price for a DGX 630 will become much more cheaper very soon!

Thanks guys, but if they are priced the same like in my case, which one would be better as a ''piano''?

PS: the px330 is way too expensive over here, just saying.

Both have the same keyboard. So with the DGX you get more Sounds. No clue if the P-85 has better piano samples? Maybe you can listen at this post:

People here seem to be talking only about the sounds and extra features. But what really matters is the feel of the key action. It's hard to list this in the specifications but it is what matters.

The YPG635 has a very different keys actio than the Casio. It's not like the two are so close you can't tell. They are different enough the you'd notice after just a few minutes with each. Which is "best"? Hard to say as it's a matter of preference.

If all you care about is the piano sound then on paper the Casio has multi-layer samples and the P85 has just one layer. Buy Yamaha gets a lot from that one layer. Yamaha has a better reputation for quality. But really you should decide based on the key action.
