Hello everyone,

I am looking for a digital piano and was wondering if any of you have experiance with the $500 to $800 range. I am really not into all the weird noise gimicks, I am looking for something that feels and the sounds closet to the real thing. I live in a small mountain town in Colorado, so our music shop has only the 635 so I can't really compare to anything right now. If you have any suggestions of other brands I should check out, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your help,

j.b.

The YPG 535 has no scaled hammer action keyboard, not really usefull as a DP.

YPG 635 would be the better choise. I compared YPG 635 (DGX 630) vs. P 85 and i didnt liked the sound from the P-85 over the internal loudspeakers.

But I also didnt liked that the head phone connector is at the back side from the YPG 635.

At least I returned my YPG and get a Casio PX 330 - which has better Piano sounds than the YPG, also a better keyaction and two head phone connectors, MIDI, Line out, etc. but the PX 330 has not very good additional sounds, compared with the YPG. But I want to learn Piano and not keyboard so I can life with that wink
