What amazing blue eyes! I am more of a dog person, but find cats intriguing. Most cats that I have been around find me to be the same- for whatever reason.

Shmoe, Al-Mahed and all...
One thing I've noticed about this forum is that the members are full of class. Forums can be a cesspool of worthless arguments.

For those of us whose learning curve is steep and bumpy, it's grand to find a resource of helpful adventurers who have more experience.

Ab-ster's "triplets" and wardrobe humor make me laugh.

Photo is of the 10 mile long Punta Banda peninsula, which is my neighborhood, on the south side of Ensenada bay. View is west.

Thanks Julius! I used a Canon Power Shot A570 IS. I think the "IS" (image stabilization) really helps to get a clear shot. This camera was inexpensive and takes a nice picture but it's quite slow to get ready for the next picture (not sure what that's called, recycle rate or something?). Here's another pic - this time an action shot. We like to say this little guy is spring loaded smile

I have been learning piano now for 2 months!

My cat named mouse, by my couple days old Haessler 124. I had heard it isn't good to have it near a window, but there isn't any place in the room that isn't by a window, except the middle of the room. They are double glazed though. Maybe that helps.

...and my dog, not named cat, because that would have been weird.

I'm enjoying all the interesting and cute pictures! Here's Gwen.. In addition to playing the piano, she enjoys walking me around the yard in her harness and leash (we're not allowed to let pets run free here). grin

Cool pic taitai - who is that supposed to be? Someone from Greek Mythology or the Olympic Games, I forget.

At least it's not a cat pose - enough with the cursing cats already - haven't y'all heard: it's a dog's life we lead... smile

I see the devil in a puppy suit just waiting to launch out and cause a ruckus. Just look at how the hind feet are dug in ready to explode. Honestly though its the chained up pose that gives it away. You can't fool me.

Beautiful dog but a handfull no?
