Hamsters reminded me of when my kids were little, changing diapers. If you didn't cover up the boy's "pee pee" you were liable to get squirted in the face at any given moment and I did more than once! Was waiting for that hamster to do likewise.... To bad... It didn't.

How does one explain that to a tech? "well, you see, I was feeding popcorn to Nigel over there, and he was lying on the keyboard, and I guess he had too much Sprite earlier during the movie, and....."

Although, they probably put out less liquid than a wrung out 'Shamwow' - so maybe there isn't much danger.

I was mostly worried at the end that his fur was caught between the keys!

Oh, btw, here is the ridiculous yuppie solution to that classic baby boy problem: For the parents who are too unresou...ly designed, overpriced consumer product

That "cracked" me up LVP... Sometimes, we're just not fast enough to cover up the pee pee. Or, forget! I watched a video via a forward in emails that showed dads gagging like crazy changing babies diapers. They came up with a ton of ideas from masks to gas masks to even something similar to an astronauts outfit and they still all gagged like crazy. It was hiliarious!

Man, I guess being the oldest of seven has it's perks! We always just threw a cloth diaper over their bellies and pulled it down quick so that they wouldn't get us in the eye! There was always something waiting on the changing table...we also had a day care in my house, so we all got lots of practice... But I suppose that sort of preparedness can only come from 'getting it wrong' enough times that you are never going to forget! Ha!

I will also, however, not get used to the puke. My theory is that one gets used to diapers, but you actually become more horrified with each stomach flu that you have to nurse. Ugh.

Have you seen this one? Huggies 'Geyser' Ad

BTW, hope you all don't mind me crashing your thread! Couldn't resist, had me laughing too much!

You're very welcome here LVP, glad to see you posting too.

Here's a funny story for you... Puke makes me gag. The smell of it, watching it, hearing it even. Well, my oldest son Jerry Jr, was about 5 or 6 and he had the flu. His bedroom was on the other side of the house from where the toilet was in our other house. After a bit, he had filled the puke pan up about half way. I said to my wife, I'll go and get it this time thinking to myself, oh, I'm the man, I can do this! Also thinking, I HOPE I CAN DO THIS, I DON'T KNOW! Well, I grabbed the plastic wash basin that he filled and started walking across the house with it. All I could hear was "SLOSH, SLOSH, SLOSH, SLOSH, SLOSH" as it was, sloshing back and forth in the pan. I sat it down about half way through the house and made a bee line for the bathroom. That's all I could stand and I can't stands no more!!!!

Just the sound of it started making me gag my brains out!!!
