at least once". This was the last line in the review of David Fray's Schubert Impromptus and Moment Musicals disk in the most recent issue of International Piano Magazine. Not saying I'd go that far, but I find his playing extremely beautiful. Some Youtube recordings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFOyZniX7Gchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqysdlYtZQAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVO34yetW34Anyone heard him live or on reocrdings? What do you think about his playing?

Never heard of him before this, some great playing though, nothing seems forced sounding... I guess thats a quality alot of concert pianists have.

I had never heard of him; but this is some of the loveliest Schubert I've heard in a while. The video composition of the first (which I'm listening to ATM) is perfect for the mood.
Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons.

Yup - I did - and as he sat in the chair he seemed to be leaning back away from the keyboard. Interesting approach.
