Hi guys, I just realised this was here.

I'm thinking about buying an above-style organ off Ebay for roughly 99c (Australian), mostly to play some little Bach preludes and such. I'm not sure how serious I'm going to get yet.

Will this sort of organ offer an at-all-rewarding experience? The con is, I have to move it myself and it looks very heavy.

Yes, the size and weight are big considerations. Will it wear well over time and fulfill your goals in the long run? I have a family member's Conn organ, fill two registers, full pedals, beautiful condition. I am told I will be lucky to find a buyer due to its competitors in today's music world, the lighter, portable electronic devices that abound, and the computerized church organs out there.
