To add to my "piggishness..." unless someone else steps up to play it I'll also play op 9 "Chopin"... one of my favorite Shumann pieces. It really needs to be included. However, as much as I love to play it I will gladly pass it on to any that wants it.

I like the idea of a piece-fest - it would be really interesting to listen to everybody's different interpretations - especially something polyphonic (poly-voiced?) like Traeumerie or the piece I'm doing - because there is lots of scope for individuality... PS: I love the way this recital has brought together P and AB forums - nice work Schubertian...

Kinderszenen is closed out.
I'm thinking about dropping Dichterliebe - it really doesn't work without the interplay of piano and voice - even though the transcription is very good.

Never mind, found the original thread.
So is Grillen (from Fantasiestücke Op. 12) still open? If so, count me in!

^Is that a change from the original one person per piece? If so, I'd really like to add Op. 15 no. 1 to the nos. 4 and 8 I am already signed up for. I think it would be tragic not to include a piece I've played every day for probably the last half year. Every day it's different and every day I love it.

- so the day does not pass by and Robert is there wondering what happened. Well, we certainly wouldn't want that to happen, now would we? But where exactly is good old Robert, and is he really in any condition to be "wondering"... just asking Please mark me down for the ubiquitous Op.68, No.1 since it wouldn't be a complete Schumann celebration without it; it does have a simple but sweet "Melody"; and any piece in C Major with the lower staff under control of a G clef throughout is a piece I can probably handle in the relatively early stages of my fantasy piano career. Good luck with this - great idea JF
