Hi,

I have put my new Roland DP-990 together and it looks and sounds great, but I think I might have messed up. The headphones that came with it do not seem to plug into the holes on the bottom left side and I threw away the package and I think I saw another plug in the package that I didn't think I was going to need.

Do you have to screw a plug into the hole first before you can plug into the piano? The most difficult thing about putting the thing together was figuring out how the cord holders snapped together and now I can't figure out how to plug in a set of headphones. Unbelievable!

Thanks for any help you can give. (If I did throw away a necessary part do you think I can buy one at Radio Shack? And, what would it be called?)

Suzette

You probably threw away the 3.5mm (1/8") - 6.5mm (1/4") adapter.

The small headphones plug fits in one end, and the other end plugs into your piano.

Similar to this one, here:

Thank you! I found the adapter that I had put in a drawer before throwing out the headphone box. All is good.

A 1/8th to 1/4 inch adaptor. They are easy to buy "everywhere" for under $2
