My piano teacher and I were discussing this at my last lesson. I'll be playing his Fantasy in c, K. 475 next Wedndesday for my audition/jury for piano performance. So far so good, but still really way exposed unlike playing the Chopin Nocturnes I am used to.

Let me make myself clear:

I love Mozart's music and always admire the pure genuineness I find in it.
Therefore the one thing that I would ever do, would be to under estimate his genius.
Also, I agree that Mozart is hard to perform, because you are so exposed and there is no where to hide.

His music is so unique and beautiful, so please let us not make anyone afraid of attempting a Mozart Sonata.
