I'm a Casio fan, but you can get lots of information in the digital pianos- synths & keyboards forum here.

If you are interrsted in learning piano then you will want a keyboard with weighted keys. Those you listed above have just light springs under the kays. In the Casio line the lowest priced weighted keyboard is the CDP100. Currently $299 at Guitar Center if you use their $50 off deal.

There is a synth and K/b section of the forum, ask there for advice.

I'll third the recommendation that you go to the digital piano/synth section. The Casios they often recommend are the digital pianos in their Privia line (PX-130, PX-300, etc.). But they'll have a lot more info on other brands too, and the specific features you should look for.

Good luck!

If you can test physically the touch of the keyboard, it would be better.
It depends on what you want. As said above, both cited have 'light-spring' organ keys, not a piano-like touch.
A slightly older Casio CTK-800 I have has very unamortized keys, with a hard plastic-on-plastic hit and noise at end. If you practice much or 'forte' (high velocity) knuckles may begin to hurt !
Don't know about this CTK-5000 model, but be wary.
Yamahas of similar series (PSR 313) have better amortization, still light-spring.

What they say is right - if you want to transfer skills to classical piano, then an inertial piano-like touch is essential for finger strength and dynamic control.
Casio Privia or CDP series, or Yamaha Arius or DGX (520 or better; 230 is a bad compromise).

I recently got the yamaha dgx 630. It's like a keyboard and e-piano mixed. I really like it except for the speakers which are only 5w each, but I use headphones anyway so its not a big problem.
