Hi Turandot, Sorry it took me a little while to get back to you. Yes, I'm a big Perzina fan, but as I have stated in this post and others I also enjoy the better American made Baldwins, Mason and Hamlins and the higher end pianos. As you are well aware of any new pianos including the Kawai RX1 , RX2, and Yamaha C1 and C2 will drop in value on re-sale at least 30%, perhaps more with todays recession. I agree with you if you can find any of these 2cd hand you can get a good deal and if the cards fall right a great deal. Obviously one would not have the same price advantage with the Kawai RX1, RX2, and Yamaha C1, C2 new as used. But my personal preference with the sound and touch is still the Perzina if you are comparing against the used prices.

I know there are old posts about Australian piano prices being astronomically high - but please spare us a thought whenever discussing prices!!!!!

All the best from a sultry Victoria!
