Has anyone had any experience with the M-Audio DCP-300 ? I have been comparing them with others in the $1000 - 1500 price range and their features look great for the money. They do have a three-year parts and labor warranty . Unfortunatly there are no reviews on this model that I can locate. Any opinions of performance and/or quality will be appreciated.

I tried a DCP 200, and I could
not fault it. It has everything
one could want in a digital:
grand piano-like performance,
console-type design with built-in
pedals, record and playback.

I'm an experienced player who
has been playing digitals since
1989. When shopping for my
latest piano, I had it narrowed
down to three: the DCP 200,
the Casio PX 800, and the
Williams Overture--all to be
bought online from amazon.com,
the Casio and Williams sight-unseen.
I eventually went with the
Williams because of the price.
But the DCP 200 was a close
contender all the way.

The DCP 300 is the more expensive
model and should be even better.

I wouldn't buy an M-Audio piano without trying it first, the quality of their actions varies enormously. I have one of their semi weighted controllers and I like it, it really is semi weighted and has a hint of a true piano action. On the other hand I've played their fully weighted Prokeys 88 stage piano and it was dreadful, by far the worst weighted board I've ever tried.
