Would love some feedback on this piano. My daughter loves this piano, and we are considering purchasing. Hammers look great and it is the original owner.

This make and model was mid to low level when new 62 years ago. I would recommend shopping for much newer used.

Do not get a spinet. They are difficult to repair if anything goes wrong. I recently made such a repair, and it cost about 5 times as much as it would have been if it had been a larger upright without a drop action.

I have nothing bad to say about Ivors and Pond, but spinet pianos in general are not great to learn on. They have a "drop" action which adds a substantial extra linkage to the keys. Spinet's are not the best representation of what a real piano action should be. This can be frustrating to the beginner - even early on. One of the things a beginner learns early on is piano, pianissimo, forte and fortissimo. A spinet lacks severly in dynamic range. What I am saying is that they are not very expressive and expression is a large part of the beauty of music.
