Could anyeone give me some information on which notation software you use with your PX130, and whether things run smoothly? Thanks.

What exactly do you mean? The PX130 is a digital piano, anything connected with it via midi will pretty much work. If you just play a midi file on your computer and have the PX130 connected via MIDI IN, you'll get it playing...

Any notation software will work.

Unless you mean something different in which case do explain... smile

I asked the question a few days ago but still can't figure out a solution. My finale software does not recognize PX130. I've tried many things and now I'm not sure whether the only way is to get another software.

The PX-130 uses a class compliant USB Driver. In other words, the driver is in the operating system of Windows and isn't a Casio USB driver. I'm sorry I don't have Finale here to trouble shoot for you, have you contacted Finale for support?

You might wanna check the documentation for the keyboard and the software to see if you need a particular kind of sound card.
