I missed last Friday but we went out of town. I'm pretty proud that I've been able to keep up with practicing all year! It's been hard, but so good for me.

It's been an interesting 'daily practice' year. From not knowing much to at least 3 songs fully memorized. Thanks to MOYD.

Went out of town, but brought keyboard along. Still haven't missed a day yet.

One day to go!!

Good luck everyone!

Dina.

Morning Mark,

Well I'm back and eager to start practicing again. Visiting with my aged Aunt has taken its toll on me and I'll be able to decompress by practicing. I was unable to use her keyboard, couldn't locate it; but it was there. Somewhere!! One of the first things I did when I arrived home was to dust my DP and run my fingers up& down the keys with a few set of scales. How I've missed playing those sweet black & whites!
By the way I found a fantastic sheet music/book store called Musical Tymes Ltd.; Canada & US toll-free: 1-800-665-3315; Fax: 204-953-2669 or musicaltymes.ca. I went in for "just a quick look" and came out 21/2hrs. later. It's a musician's paradise.

I would like to be excused for dates I have missed: Sept. 3-29 inclusive. Thanks

Sign me back up for next year! I'm still practicing, just not as much because of work ( of which I am eternally grateful) and school! Take care everyone!

Hey, even tho I joined very late I am hanging in there! I was out of town for 10 days - didn't miss one day of practice - I took a digital keyboard with me (completely worth the $)! Loved not missing practice time.

Hi Mark,

Well, unfortunately I'm out. New baby and being a teacher makes daily practicing very difficult. I'll keep practicing of course, but just not every day.

I fell off the wagon yesterday. Well, more like jumped than fell. Just decided I need a day off smile. But I'm back on today. I'll be out of town at the WMTA Convention Friday and Saturday Oct. 23 & 24, so I will have no chance to practice then either, but hopefully learning lots of things to teach to my students!

I missed Friday, but it was for a good reason: I was having surgery. All went well, and I was only in the hospital one night. Back on the bench, albeit groggily, yesterday and today.

Still hanging in there and I can't believe we're almost in December! thumb Glad to see you're ok Monica. I'm certainly looking forward to 2010 with even more enthusiasm.

One month to go. Are we still kings/queens of our respective castles?

Piano self teaching on and off from 2002-2008. Took piano instruction from Nov 2008- Feb 2011. Took guitar instruction Feb 2011-Jul 2013. Can't play either. Living, breathing proof some people aren't cut out to make music.
