Hello everyone,

I recently inherited a mint keyboard/synth that I would like to learn more about. It's a German unit called a Wersi Pegasus. To my knowledge, this unit was bought some years ago by someone who paid in excess of $4000 for it but never, ever used it. There it stands, brand new, in its carrying case. What to do with it? Is it worth discovering and experimenting with?

Hello Alden,

I really tried all I could to get in touch, never got any hint of a reply. Although the Wersi name seems to ring some bells (at least on the European side of the Atlantic), googling it a bit proved disapointing, as per following:

Anyways, I would really have been ready to give up the contraption (Wersi Pegasus, case, stand, etc) to anyone knowledgeable for a small fraction of what it originally cost. Seems it's doomed...

That web site lists a Wersi Pegasys (used) for sale at $999.

Hi Claude

Here is Wersi's home German site. Hopefully you can get some information there.

Wersi had a small but ardent following in the US during the home organ heyday, but if Ralph has disappeared they no longer appear to have any presence outside of Europe.

Too bad, interesting machines.
