Greetings:
I am pretty new to PW having only a couple of posts under my belt. Anyone out there know of any good piano teachers in the Milwaukee, WI area??
I have tried checking pretty much all of the websites I could find that have been posted on PW and have come up empty. Any suggestions would be of great help!! Thanks!
Ron

Are you looking for lessons for a child or for yourself?

I know several, but they specialize, which is why I asked who the lessons are for.

JVD:
I am looking for lessons for myself. I am an adult beginner on piano but played trumpet throught the first part of college, mostly jazz focused..so I know the basics of notation, chord structure, etc.
Looking for a teacher to get me started in classical with focus on fundamentals and technique. Down the road a few years I would like to transition to more of a jazz focus, but want to make sure I am grounded fundamentally.
I am serious about progressing and eventually being able to play advanced material and realize the work it will take to do so. Hopefully that helps!
Katie:
Thanks for the link..I'll check it out!!

Katie, I'll email my contacts and see if I can find you a competent teacher. Give me a few days.
John
