It was an arrangement of the Overture from Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. I'm afraid I've forgotten the name of the arranger but am reasonably certain it was NOT by Czerny. I used to own a copy of it in a piano duet book. All I can remember was the cover of the book was a bright orange color.

What I would like to know is if any of you can tell me the name of the publisher? I have somehow lost this book and am trying to find that same arrangement of the Overture. Knowing the publisher or the name or the arranger would be a huge help.

Thanks for any help.

The subject of arrangers came up here not long ago, with a website that lists most published arrangements and their arrangers. Search for it.

Thanks for that link. Sheet Music Plus has the same book as Amazon and shows a page from the Figaro overture. It's the one I was searching for. And the additional overtures are all for the better. Nice price too. I'll be getting this book.

Much appreciated.
