It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Remember this coming Sunday, September 13th! TRIPLE-PLAY EVENT!
Don't miss our last program of the 2009 program year -- 2PM this coming Sunday at the Kansas City Municipal Auditorium Music Hall, 301 West 13th Street, KCMO. Come early and park in the garage across the street from auditorium.
After the show, we'll have an Open Console for anyone who wants to try their hands (and feet) on the Mighty Morton... and cookies while you visit with other KCTPO friends, too.
Invite a friend (or two!) to join you this coming Sunday at 2:00 PM to hear Craig Smith and Greg Foreman, and see Laurel & Hardy, too!
Craig Smith (forums member "Piano Peddler") has been delighting audiences with his organ stylings for more than 30 years. He traveled across the country playing in a variety “show bands†and at upscale hotels. He is now at Schmitt Music at Rosanna Square in Overland Park, working with the Lowrey home organ department.
Greg Foreman has been an accompanist for the Kansas Silent Film Festival and will accompany the 1928 Laurel & Hardy silent film, “That’s My Wife,†with accompaniment that includes My Pet, Kitten on the Keys, You Tell 'em Ivories, Poor Buttermilk, Greenwich Witch, and Coaxing the Piano.
